Cochin

Kochi represents diversity. Kumarakom

A place that the National Geographic Magazine has described as one of the must-see places in a lifetime.  Kumarakom is an important stopover for a majority of tourists coming to Kerala. This famous tourist backwater hub is a cluster of islands on the eastern banks of Lake Vembanad. Compared to adjacent villages, the lake has its maximum length and breadth near Kumarakom - about eight km. With the huge lake on one side and with a network of calm canals, Kumarakom, a masterpiece created together with Nature, enjoys a unique position

Thekkady

Hills, perfect greenery, shimmering lakes, cool and aromatic air - Thekkady has it all. Situated in Idukki district of Kerala, at an altitude of 900-1800 m above sea level, Thekkady, lying on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, is so closely related to this renowned sanctuary that, often the names, Thekkady and Periyar, are used interchangeably to refer to the area. Thekkady is a dream destination for adventure travelers and Nature lovers alike. 


Munnar

The famed hill station of south India, is a romantic locale where natural beauty is everywhere to visit, Situated about 1600m above sea level, the hill station had been the summer resort during the colonial era. In remembrance of colonial past stand tall in the Munnar town in the form of English country cottages are to explore and enjoy. Munnar confluence of three mountain streams – Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala – and the word ‘Munnar’ means three rivers Virgin forests, savannah, rolling hills, scenic valleys, numerous streams, huge splashy waterfalls, sprawling tea plantations and winding walkways are all part of the great holiday experience on offer for a traveler to Munnar.


Athirappalli

The most famous waterfalls in south India, Popular among tourist and southern film industry - Athirappalli and Vazhachal are situated on the Chalakudy River, which originates from the upper reaches of the Western Ghats. At the entrance to the Sholayar which stands tall at 80 feet. Just a short drive from Athirapally is the Vazhachal waterfall, it is close to dense green forests that are home to many endangered and endemic species of flora and fauna.This is the only place in the Western Ghats where four endangered Hornbill species are seen.  Athirappalli is about 63 km from Thrissur and Vazhachal about 68 km.


Wayanad

Wayanad district is in the southern tip of the Deccan Plateau. Part of the Western Ghats is in the district. In the centre of the district hills are lower in height while the northern area has high hills.The wildlife sanctuary comes under Protect Elephant and one can spot herd of elephants roaming in the area. Elephant rides are arranged by the Kerala Forest Department.Tourism  conceived Wayanad  and promoted by Wayanad Tourism Organization (WTO) an organization taking the lead role in cultivating culture of 'responsible and sustainable tourism' in Wayanad. Place to see in Wayanad Chembra Peak,Neelimala, Meenmutty waterfalls, Pakshipathalam,Banasura Sagar Dam.
